Went here for an evening meal with a couple of friends on a Tuesday night. I ordered the steak sandwich which turned out to be an open-face sandwich - a 10 oz sirloin on top of a half baguette. Not your average sandwich!! The sirloin was superb quality, the nicest piece of steak I've had in months! (And I'm picky about my steak). I had the side of garlic gratin potatoes...again, the dish was beautifully sauced and potatoes melted in my mouth. I forgot to take any pictures, sorry. I gave the atmosphere 5 stars not because it is a fancy place, but because it is quintessential 'local pub.' Table service was lightning fast and the kitchen was quick.
